I am a PhD candidate in Music at the University of São Paulo (USP), Currently visiting researcher at University of Edinburgh and University Siena Jazz. I hold a Master’s in Music from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), and a Bachelor’s in Architecture and Urbanism. My research and professional work focus on Conducted Improvisation. I have studied various techniques, methods, and practices of conducted improvisation, such as Conduction, Soundpainting, Ritmo y Percusión con Señas, Cobra, among others.

I have conducted approximately 800 artists across different disciplines, including visual arts, theater, dance, music, and poetry. I have also conducted orchestras such as the London Improvisers Orchestra, Orquestra Experimental de Repertório (OER-SP), São Paulo Improvisadores em Orquestra, Rio Art Orquestra, Transversal Frevo Orquestra, Orquestra Carnaval dos Espíritos, Orquestra de Câmara do Sesc, and the Unirio Big Band. In 2017, alongside editor Dr. Daniela Veronesi, I organized the Brazilian launch of the book "The Art of Conduction" in four states (RJ, SP, MG, PR), featuring workshops, performances, and lectures at Federal Universities.

I am an improviser, composer, and music producer. My main instruments are saxophone, flute and bass clarinet, but I also explore other instruments. As a performer, I have played with João Donato, The Big Odd (Dibigode), Menage, Pequeno Céu, Monge, Jorge Dubman, Santiago Córdoba, Dona Jandira, Achille Kempf, and Barulho Max. I have participated in projects, festivals, and tours in China, the United States, France, United Kingdom, Argentina, Senegal, and Brazil.
